This 3 hour workshop offers pregnant ladies an opportunity to relax, move and learn techniques to help them through their pregnancy, labour and beyond.
The workshop includes a whole-body gentle Pilates workout to mobilise joints and release tension in muscles where pregnancy takes its toll on the body. We will learn how to effectively engage and relax the pelvic floor and connect with muscles essential for maintaining good posture.
The workshop also offers a relaxing session of “calm labour breathing” learning about the benefits to both you and your baby, plus find out how we can influence a positive mindset for your labour and birth by using simple tools and techniques.
Finally, you will be offered a prenatal back massage, specifically targeting areas of tension associated with pregnancy. This will be a sacred time for pure relaxation whilst your body settles into the sound vibrations of the sound bath.
All this comes with refreshments, cake and a goody bag to take home. This also offers a great opportunity to meet other local mums-to-be in a great space in the heart of Horsforth.

This workshop is aimed at people with various hip and knee conditions who wish to try Pilates. This may include further rehabilitation following a hip or knee replacement, weakness in the hip or knee joints....
During the workshop I will aim to demonstrate and teach a range of Modern Pilates exercises that are great for mobilising the hips and knees as well as exercises to strengthen and stabilise muscles, targeting weaknesses and imbalances in these areas.
Through this workshop I aim to help people gain confidence in their ability to exercise even when dealing with issues with their hips and knees.
